They are manufactured in Europe and packaged in the USA.
Do you sell internationally?
No. At this time, we are only selling in the USA, but we are looking to expand later in 2016. Please send us an email if you are interested in ordering, but live outside of the US.
Are JOLIE ORGANIC products certified Organic?
Yes. All of JOLIE ORGANIC's products are made with 100% Certified Organic Cotton, and Organic materials are used wherever possible.
We have been Global Organic Textile Standard certified by the Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute of Italy. Our Global Organic Textile Standard License Number is GOTS 2016-002. You can verify our certification and the certification of other products on the GOTS database here.

What is the difference between 100% Certified Organic Cotton and 100% Natural Cotton?
Organic cotton has been certified to be made without the use of herbicides, pesticides, or Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). The cotton is cleaned without the use of Chlorine, meaning there will be no traces or residues of dioxin (a toxic byproduct of a type of chlorination cleaning process). There is no added fragrance. Natural Cotton can be grown with the use of herbicides and pesticides or GMOs. There is no guarantee that chlorine is not used in the cleaning process.
All cotton must undergo a bleach cleaning process prior to being manufactured into feminine hygiene products. There are essentially two ways to do this. Our tampons are manufactured using totally chlorine-free bleaching with hydrogen peroxide as the bleaching agent. The other bleaching process uses chlorine dioxide which can produce trace amounts of dioxins. When you think of how many days women use these products over a lifetime, trace amounts of dioxin exposure can add up.

Is JOLIE ORGANIC approved by the FDA?
What type of feminine hygiene products should I use?
It is up to you which type of products you should use. Every woman's body is different and every woman has different needs, but if you have questions then you should consult your physician.
Do JOLIE ORGANIC tampons use the standard rule of tampon absorbency?
Yes. Regular tampons absorb 6-9 grams of liquid and Super tampons absorb 9-12 grams.
How often should I change my tampons?
The FDA recommends that you change your tampon every 4-8 hours and that you use the lightest level of absorbency needed for your flow to reduce risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). The FDA also advises that you not wear tampons over night.
What is Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS)?
TSS is a rare, but serious illness that can be fatal. It is caused by toxins produced by Staphylococcus aureus, a bacteria commonly found on the skin and inside the nose and vagina. TSS can appear in women, men, and children. Use of tampons increases your risk of contracting TSS, but this same risk exists even with menstrual cups. If you don't use tampons, the risk of TSS is reduced, but not entirely eliminated. You can reduce the risk of menstrual TSS by using tampons with the lowest absorbency needed to manage your flow and by changing your tampon regularly every 4-6 hours. You can also alternate tampon use with the use of sanitary napkins.
The risk of contracting TSS is higher in adolescents and women under 30 years of age. The estimated incidence of TSS is 1 to 17 per 100,000 menstruating women and girls per year. Although it is a rare occurrence, it is important to know the symptoms and treat early.
What are symptoms of TSS?
Symptoms of TSS include the following: Sudden, high fever (39C/102F or higher), dizziness, vomiting, near fainting while standing up, fainting, muscle aches, skin irritations similar to sunburn, and diarrhea. Not all symptoms may be present. TSS can appear during the menstrual period or a little while later. It can advance rapidly with flu-like symptoms.If you are showing one or more of these symptoms, remove the tampon immediately and see your doctor. Tell your doctor that you have been using tampons and that you are concerned about TSS. If you have had TSS, then consult your doctor before resuming the use of tampons.
Can I flush JOLIE ORGANIC tampons?
Even though our tampons are biodegradable, you should still not flush them because they can cause blockages in your plumbing or septic systems. You should never flush any of your feminine hygiene products.

How do I place an order?
Visit our Subscription page and select the frequency of your order: Monthly, Every Other Month, or One Time Purchase. Then select the product you would like to get and add to cart. You can add products with different order frequencies into the same cart. For example, you can order a monthly subscription of tampons and a one time purchase of pantyliners.
How can I skip, cancel, or change my order?
You can skip or cancel orders by signing into your JOLIE ORGANIC account and simply cancel your order by editing the settings under the My Subscriptions tab. Subscription orders must be canceled or skipped at least 24 hours in advance to the shipping date. If you would like to change the shipping date or need help changing an order, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do I need to make an account to place an order?
Yes. To place an order for a JOLIE ORGANIC product, you will need to set up an account with the SIGN IN tab in the right corner of the top black banner.
How do I track my order?
Each order has a specific tracking number that you can find in your shipment confirmation email.
How does the JOLIE ORGANIC subscription work?
When you buy your first subscription, we will prepare your order and ship it to you. Then every month on that day, we will prepare your order and ship it to you.
My shipment hasn't arrived or the product arrived in damaged condition. What should I do?

How much is shipping?
We currently charge a flat rate of $5.99 for shipping. As our brand grows and our customer base expands, we plan to lower the flat rate.
